Vintage Lefton Mermaids on Seahorses wall plaques bathroom decor #3158 pair EUC

PLEASE READ ITEM DESCRIPTION, BELOW. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS, I TRY TO ANSWER IMMEDIATELY! They measure approximately 7 inches tall. This is one of the most sought after Lefton mermaid sets - it is a red headed mermaid on her pet seahorse. This set was designed by Marika for Lefton - she was known also for the candy cane kids she designed for Lefton. The label also indicates, made in Japan. Please note that the tailfin is a dark green color. The wall plaques are in excellent, vintage condition for their age! The mermaids fingers are intact.

There is a touch of crazing, mostly on the stomach of the mermaid where she meets the seahorse. Some light paint loss, especially on the green tails. There is a tiny air pocket or hole on the shoulder of one of the mermaids where her hair meets the shoulder. This appears to be a manufacturing flaw since it would be difficult to nick or chip that spot without damaging the rest of her arm or hair. Please see last few pics for closeups.
