Vintage Greek Grecco Incolay Cameo Wall Plaque By Coralay Goddess Of The Sun Vintage. This is a reproduction of a silver and bronze shield featuring the Sun Goddess Latona, mother of Apollo and Artemis, surrounded by putti's. It is comprised of Incolay stone which is a complex combination of various colored natural minerals and coupling agents.
It is painstakingly handcrafted with a unique stone color formation and no two pieces are the same. The name Incolay is a coined word derived from "in layers of color" or "in-color-lay" beauty. All Incolay pieces were handcrafted in the United States.
The piece measures 26 in diameter and weighs 23 lbs. Felted back, hanging wire and Coralay Classics label.
