Up on offer here is this rather unusual vintage Edwardian C-1910 gas fitting design electric wall light scone (possibly a gas to electricity conversion) or designed as such, hand-made, reverse-painted Opaline glass shade. " Unusual piece of vintage Edwardian lighting with lots of character". Very interesting design in beautiful condition. Up and over gas fixture design complete with the chain toggle on / off gas switch mechanism. Solid brass wall plate with a swivel mechanism. Decorative Swivel knuckle joint with an upper ornamental finial and a base gas shut-off valve handle. Original brass ventilated gallery with original locking bolts and brass B-22 bayonet fit bulb holder. Original hand-made Opaline glass segmented reverse hand-painted lotus shaped shade. Fully wired , tested, and in perfect working order.
