A fine 18th Century antique brass wall reflector with later 19thC brass bracket, sconce and drip pan. Beautifully decorated in repousse work, the central cartouche with a head-and-shoulder side profile portrait of a figure surrounded by foliate scrolls and cherub to the top. Thinning of brass in part due to many decades of cleaning with a number of minor holes to the brass repouse work.The sconce has had the addition of two later screws and nuts to fix it to the drip pan.
