LARGE GENTS PUL-SYN-ETIC WALL CLOCK. Beautiful example of the iconic cast iron factory wall clock made in England. Exact origin unknown, but almost certainly from an industrial environment, this clock has a solid cast iron construction, steel bezel and glass lens.
Dial features numbers with the Gents of Leicester branding. The original works still remain in the clock but I think they would not work. Otherwise you can put a modern quartz mechanism in. I've sympathetically restored the clock to a wonderful state that looks stunning. Gents of Leicester, was established in Leicester, England, in 1872 by.
For over a century, the company was a well known. Which were used in public buildings and railway stations all over the world. Please check out my other items. Clocks can be viewed at New Street Antiques, Retford, DN226EG.
